It’s time to watch the best shooters go head-to-head in the annual WNBA 3-Point Contest.
The event features some veteran stars as well as up-and-coming rookies set to make some noise in the league. The reigning champion, Allisha Gray, also returns to defend her title.
In addition to Gray, Sabrina Ionescu also has a 3-Point Contest title, having won the award in 2023. Kelsey Plum and rookie Sonia Citron round out the participants after Caitlin Clark had to pull out due to injury.

What time does the WNBA 3-Point Contest start?

The 2025 WNBA 3-Point Contest will air live on Friday, July 18, as part of the Friday night festivities. The event is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET and take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Fans can watch the 2025 WNBA 3-Point Contest live on ESPN. Ryan Ruocco, Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe will be on the call.

3-Point Contest participants, format
Players will have one minute to score as many 3-pointers as possible from set locations around the arc. There will be five racks, which include four regular balls worth one point each and one money ball worth two points. There will also be two Starry balls well beyond the arc; these are worth three points each.
