Somehow, six weeks have passed in the 2025 CFL season, and after this weekend, one-third of the regular season will be in the books. Week 7 has some exciting matchups, and we will discuss each of them — and tell you how you can watch each one — below.
The game of the week might be Thursday, when the Alouettes host the Argonauts in what should be an instant-classic of a rivalry game. The Alouettes lead the East Division foes 85-66-2 in the all-time head-to-head series, and the reigning-champion Argos are only 1-4 this season. Can Toronto pull off the stunning upset?
Another awesome matchup awaits Friday, when the defending West Division-champion Blue Bombers host the West Division-leading Stampeders in Winnipeg. Calgary has the best point differential in the CFL this season (+49), and both these teams have just one loss on the year.
Speaking of squads with only one loss, the 4-1 Roughriders visit the 3-3 BC Lions this Saturday. BC has put together a little two-game winning streak, and it will need to stay hot in order to remain in the playoff conversation. Every win matters to teams at .500 during this part of the summer.
Lastly, the East-leading Tiger-Cats will travel to Ottawa on Sunday to take on the Redblacks. These teams are in polar-opposite shape — Hamilton has won three in a row, while Ottawa has dropped three in a row. Can the Tiger-Cats blank the Redblacks?
