The Chicago Bears had a rough 2024 NFL season, finishing with a 5-12 record, but one of their few bright spots came in Week 18 with a 24-22 win over the Green Bay Packers, sealed by a game-winning field goal from Cairo Santos.

Although the Bears and Packers won’t face off until the final month of 2025, with both matchups set for December, Packers offensive lineman Rasheed Walker is already adding fuel for those games, setting the stage for two must-watch showdowns.

Walker appeared on Tuesday’s edition of “Good Morning Football,” and threw shade at the Bears when asked by co-host Kyle Brandt about his reaction to Caleb Williams stating that he’s undefeated at Lambeau Field.

“Man, he got lucky,” Walker said. “You know what I’m saying? Make the playoffs.”

The panel on “Good Morning Football” wanted the Green Bay standout to elaborate more on his “lucky” remark. Still, he kept it short and noted that the team have what Williams said about being undefeated on their bulletin for when they meet later this year.

“That’s all I got to say,” Walker added. “You know what I’m saying? They got lucky, make the playoffs. We’re going to see him again this year, and we’re going to remember he said that.”

Chicago’s young quarterback has been stirring the pot with Packers fans this offseason. Back in June, Caleb Williams singled out Green Bay supporters when talking about the most negative fan experiences from his rookie year.

“Probably Green Bay,” Williams said at Fanatics Fest (h/t Pro Football Talk). “I mean, they suck. After the game, after we won at Lambeau — 1-0 at Lambeau — we tried to do the Lambeau Leap, tried to jump into the crowd where our fans were.

“[Packers fans] just started throwing everything at you, push you off. The Lambeau Leap, it’s a real leap. It’s not a little baby jump, you actually have to high jump, basically. And they’re pushing you, pushing your face.”

While the Packers will have Williams’ comments pinned to their bulletin board for those two matchups later this year, the Bears won’t forget what Walker said either, as no team likes being told they were just lucky to win.

Football fans will have to wait a bit for this season’s Bears-Packers matchups, but with all the back-and-forth between players, the buildup should be well worth it.
