WIMBLEDON, LONDON —The top two players in men’s tennis square off against each other for the second grand slam final running as Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz contest the 2025 Wimbledon final.

35 days on from their French Open final, in which Alcaraz edged a five-set epic totalling five-and-a-half hours, Sinner will have his chance at revenge as the world No.1 aims to win a fourth grand slam.

He comes up against two-time defending world No.2 champion Alcaraz with the Spaniard winning the past five meetings between the two.

However, in their only previous meeting on grass, it was the Italian who took a four-set win in the fourth round of 2022 Wimbledon,

All eyes will be on Centre Court this afternoon with tennis fans eager to watch the best there is do battle once more in what’s sure to be another epic encounter.

4:05 p.m. BST: The players should be coming out any minute now. Centre Court is packed and Henman Hill is also looking pretty busy for fans wanting to catch the action in the sun.

3:55 p.m. BST: Should Alcaraz win today it will be his 25th consecutive win — a career best. The Spaniard improved to 24-0 after beating Taylor Fritz in his semifinal and has not lost since losing to Holger Rune at the Barcelona Open final in April. His 2025 record stands at 48-5. 

3:30 p.m. BST: With Alcaraz 22 years of age and Sinner a year older, we’re set for plenty of more epic meetings with silverware on the line. In the head-to-head record, Alcaraz boasts an 8-4 record and has won their last five meetings.

Sinner will be hoping the match doesn’t get to five sets either having lost on all four occasions when they’ve met, including missing three match points in their French Open final encounter earlier this year.
