Bronny James is still months away from the start of his sophomore campaign. The work starts on Thursday for the 20-year old Lakers guard, though, who readies for yet another close-up: a duel with the Mavericks and their first-year standout, Cooper Flagg.
For James, it’s business as usual. James’ maiden season was filled with the usual dramatics—dunks, crossovers, cheers and jeers. He happened to do so with a major spotlight on him.
James’ didn’t show much during NBA play. But he found his form in the G-League, averaging 21.4 points, 5.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 11 games.
Could he recreate those displays against Flagg and Dallas on Thursday night?
