Less than a week away from Selection Sunday, there are still plenty of bids available for conference champions.

The Mountain West always features a few teams that have the chance to make deep runs in the NCAA tournament if they can get hot. This year, the conference’s best chance at success in March is Utah State, which could be the only Mountain West team in the entire field.

However, if the Aggies don’t win the conference tournament, then another team has a chance to steal a big from those on the bubble. Therefore, the Mountain West tournament is crucial for determining which bubble teams are still alive for a spot on Sunday.

The Sporting News has a full breakdown of the 2026 Mountain West tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.
