The FIBA Women’s World Cup is on the horizon in 2026, but first, international teams must qualify. The USA women’s national team gets started in Puerto Rico this week.
Luckily for U.S. fans, the Americans are one of five countries to have already qualified for the World Cup taking place later this year in Berlin. This five-game tournament will give the team a chance to play ahead of Berlin, while other countries will be competing to clinch their spot.
