Australia’s Jai Opetaia headlines Zuffa Boxing’s biggest show to date when he takes on the durable Brandon Glanton at Zuffa 04 in Las Vegas on Sunday, March 8.

The undefeated knockout artist will be hoping to make a statement on debut in the U.S., while Glanton gets the biggest opportunity of his career as he looks to spring the upset.

A dramatic build-up to the fight saw the IBF withdraw their sanction and declare Opetaia would be stripped of his belt if he was to compete in an unsanctioned cruiserweight bout.

That story continues to bubble away in the background, but for now, the pair will be meeting with Opetaia’s Ring Magazine title and the vacant, and inaugural, Zuffa championship on the line.

Jai Opetaia vs. Brandon Glanton live fight updates, results

Joshua Juarez defeats Jardae Anderson in heavyweight clash

(79-73, 78-74, 77-75)

Juarez improved to 15-0 with a well-earned unanimous decision victory over Jardae Anderson.

Despite more than likely leading on the cards, to close out the fight, Juarez pointed to the middle of the ring and the pair traded wild blows over the final seconds, getting the crowd at the Apex on their feet.

Jaycob Ramos and Ethan Perez fight out entertaining draw

(56-56 x2, 57-55 Ramos)

We have our second draw of the evening after two judges split the points between Ramos and Perez.

Each fighting touched the canvas once in an exciting scrap, Ramos in the second and Perez in the third, both with rear hands down the pipe, but neither could turn the advantage into a victory.

Brady Ochoa and Adrian Serrano can’t be split

(57-57 x2, 58-56 Ochoa)

A pair of young guns did just enough to maintain their undefeated records after the judges came up with a majority draw for the lightweight clash between Ochoa and Serrano.

Both guys enjoyed bright moments but a draw felt like the right result following the well-matched contest.

Emiliano Alvarado sees off a tough Erick Rosado

(59-54 x3)

The 18-year-old Alvarado looked moments away from finishing the far more experienced Rosado on several occasions in the featherweight opener but couldn’t find the decisive blow, instead taking a unanimous decision.

Alvarado dropped Rosado hard with a left hook in the second round and had him hurt multiple times through the remainder but the Dominican fought on to the bell bravely.

6:10 p.m. / 3:10 p.m PDT: The fighters are in the ring for the opener as we get ready to get this event underway. Follow along for all the latest.
