Another day, another Maxx Crosby trade rumor.

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Dallas Cowboys remain interested in the star edge rusher, and the Baltimore Ravens are another team to watch.

However, Russini adds that Crosby is “drawing serious interest around the league,” so there are almost certainly many more suitors.

“Maxx Crosby is drawing serious interest around the league,” Russini reported. “The Dallas Cowboys are closely monitoring the situation and remain very interested, while the Baltimore Ravens are also a team to watch.”

Russini goes on to add that “GMs believe the Las Vegas Raiders are willing to work on a deal,” which could mean the team is willing to lower its asking price, which is reportedly two first-round picks and a player.

The Cowboys have long been considered a suitor for Crosby. In fact, a report suggested Dallas inquired about him before last year’s trade deadline.

Former ESPN anchor Trey Wingo reported on Thursday that the Cowboys were actually close to getting a deal done with the Raiders for Crosby but other teams stepped up their offers to nix that potential deal.

Wingo added that the Cowboys are now expected to focus on Trey Hendrickson, but clearly Dallas isn’t done with Crosby yet based on Russini’s report.

We haven’t heard much about the Ravens being interested in Crosby, but it makes sense for them to be.

After all, like Dallas, the cupboard is pretty bare at edge rusher in Baltimore and the team definitely needs an impact addition at the position.

Perhaps the Raiders can pull off a pair of first-round picks in a Crosby trade if enough teams get involved, but we ultimately believe they’ll settle for one first-rounder and either a player or a lower draft pick.
