The Philadelphia Eagles could be bracing to lose tight end Dallas Goedert in free agency this offseason.

At the NFL combine, NBC Sports’ Matthew Berry was told that Goedert is likely to leave Philadelphia after eight seasons and will sign with a new franchise.

“While many of the Eagles headlines these days are about whether A.J. Brown will stay or go, one player I’m told that will definitely be moving on from Philly this offseason is Dallas Goedert,” Berry wrote.

Goedert tallied a career-high 11 touchdowns in 2025 and is still a productive playmaker for the Eagles, so it’s shocking to hear that general manager Howie Roseman could be letting him walk.

If Goedert is indeed moving on from Philadelphia, the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, or Minnesota Vikings could sign the Super Bowl champion.

Denver needs to find an upgrade over Evan Engram at tight end, and the thought of Goedert playing in Sean Payton’s offense is exciting.

New York could also look to bolster their tight end room by stealing away one of their division rivals’ top pass catchers. Goedert would be a nice security blanket and red-zone threat for young quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Minnesota could cut ties with T.J. Hockenson in the coming weeks, and if that happens, Goedert would be an ideal replacement.

Signing Goedert shouldn’t break the bank, especially with him being 31 years old and posting under 600 receiving yards in each of the last three seasons. However, the South Dakota State product should still have a robust market, with the Broncos, Giants, and Vikings being potential suitors.
