Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam took to social media to flaunt her flawless gold medal-winning physique, working out in a sports bra as she hit the gym for the first time since becoming an Olympic champion at the Milano-Cortina Winter Games.
Looking stunning in a black sports bra and dark red spandex pants — her long blonde hair up in a ponytail — she lip-synced an inspiring audio clip.
“People give up right before they get what they always wanted to get,” she starts. “People quit, and they give up. And I will not be the person to quit before I got what I wanted.” Then she smiles and flips around to start her workout.
“This,” she wrote over the clip, which many commenters say is a quote from — or at least the idea behind — the self-help book The Reflection You Never Faced by Emma Vale.
Still on top of the world on winning a gold medal in her signature event, 1,000 meters, and a silver in the 500 meters, her post immediately sparked hundreds of comments from fans all over the world.
“Juttaaa I’m so proud of you,” wrote one young fan, including a selfie (which she later says was taken in 2023) of the two of them together. “You are my role model❤️❤️.” Another fan replied, “I dream of such a picture, I hope one day I will take a picture with her.”
