Manchester City will try to cut Arsenal‘s lead at the top of the Premier League when they travel to Leeds United.
Pep Guardiola’s side are five points behind the Gunners with a game in hand. However, that fixture, at home to Crystal Palace, is yet to be rearranged, so it is important for them to keep up the pressure in the meantime. Arsenal host Chelsea on Sunday.
Leeds’ season has hit an upward curve since their 3-2 defeat at the Etihad Stadium in November. City were cruising to victory with a 2-0 halftime lead but a change of formation to 3-5-2 by boss Daniel Farke at halftime preceded Leeds levelling the match at 2-2 before Phil Foden scored a stoppage-time winner.
Farke’s side have only lost two of 14 matches since that defeat, although one of those was a 4-0 defeat to Arsenal at Elland Road a month ago.
