According to The New York Post, the influencer and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model recently opened up about unexpectedly crossing paths with her ex-boyfriend, NFL return specialist Braxton Berrios, while in Aspen, Colorado.

Speaking candidly in a TikTok video, Alix Earle described the interaction as emotionally charged and uncomfortable. The two, who ended their relationship in December after roughly two years together, had not seen each other in person since their split.
“I did see my ex this weekend for the first time since October,” Earle said, adding that the experience was “really weird” and “really hard.”
According to Earle, the first night of the Palm Tree Music Festival weekend came and went without any direct interaction. Although they were in close proximity, both avoided initiating a conversation. “We were like in the same place but we didn’t say hi to each other,” she explained, noting she didn’t want to “annoy him,” even as she remained aware of his presence.
Things shifted slightly the following night when the two briefly acknowledged each other. Still, the moment didn’t offer much closure. “We briefly said hi to each other,” Earle said, describing the exchange as short and emotionally loaded.
Reflecting on the dynamic, she summed up the discomfort of the situation in relatable terms. “It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” she said. “So that was tough, and by tough I mean terrible.”
The breakup itself had already drawn attention late last year, with Earle confirming the split in a tearful video. She cited long-distance challenges as a key factor, while also emphasizing a need to focus on herself. “I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs,” she shared at the time.

Since then, both have continued with their respective careers, though public interest in their personal lives hasn’t slowed. Fans recently speculated about Earle’s connection to retired quarterback Tom Brady after the two were seen interacting at a New Year’s Eve event in St. Barts. Neither has addressed those rumors.
