The Buffalo Bills and their receiver needs are again set to be one of the most talked-about storylines this offseason.
With the Bills able to get Josh Allen a No. 1 weapon in either free agency or the draft, there are options for general manager Brandon Beane.
Given why the franchise moved on from Sean McDermott, Buffalo can’t shortchange Joe Brady in his first offseason. They must get him a top receiver.
But where?
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah fielded his annual pre-scouting combine conference call and gave his idea of who the Bills should be targeting.
“They have to find a bigger body,” Jeremiah said via NFL.com’s Dan Parr. “They need a ball-winner, whether in free agency or the draft.”
“(Louisville WR) Chris Bell, you might get a discount on. He’s coming off an ACL surgery, but he’s a really good player. Strong and powerful. Can go get it down the field, Physical at the top of routes. Does not go down easy after the catch. You might catch a value potentially there at that point in time.”

How should Bills attack WR position?
It ultimately depends on what the Bills want.
Do they want a proven commodity, say, like A.J. Brown? Going down that route will be costly, but you know defenses will have to game-plan for him.
Plus, he’s experienced and offers the passing game a whole lot.
But drafting a receiver can be a little hit-or-miss. Can Buffalo afford another Keon Coleman situation in the draft? With Allen in his prime, I don’t think so.
So, the Bills have to figure out which avenue they want to go down, and taking a receiver in the draft is a good idea; there’s an element of the unknown with a drafted player.
Can they afford to take that risk?
