The women’s hockey gold medal game at the 2026 Winter Olympics will feature two familiar foes: Team USA and Team Canada.
When the Americans and Canadians met on Feb. 10, Team USA rolled to a 5-0 victory. Led by captain Hilary Knight, Team USA has not allowed a goal since its opening game against Czechia.
Since that loss, Canada has outscored its opponents, 12-2. Canadian captain Marie-Philip Poulin missed the previous matchup against the Americans because of a knee injury, but she is back in the lineup and ready to compete for another gold medal.
