They called him Bobby Trees.
Yep, Robert Woods. And the one-time Buffalo Bills second-round pick has retired from the NFL.
He was chosen 41st overall in the 2013 NFL Draft out of USC by the Bills.
Woods then spent his first four NFL seasons in Buffalo. That included a 65-catch campaign in 2014.
Overall, Woods had 203 grabs for 2,451 yards and 12 touchdowns in 57 games for Buffalo.
The best part of his career came next, when he joined the Los Angeles Rams for five years.
With the Rams, Woods had seasons of 90, 90 and 86 catches.
All told, he had 367 catches for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns for the Rams in those five years and 68 games.
He spent the 2022 season with the Tennessee Titans, reeling in 53 passes.

Woods then was with the Houston Texans for 2023 and 2024, totaling 60 catches across the two campaigns.
He was on and off the Pittsburgh Steelers roster during the 2025 summer, but Woods was never actually with a team once the regular season began.
And after not getting to play in 2025, he signed off, having played in parts of 12 seasons and catching 683 career passes.
Woods signed a one-day contract to retire as a member of the Rams, with whom he won a Super Bowl championship.
Certainly quite a solid career for a guy who the Bills brought into the NFL more than a decade ago.
