ESPN just released its “Best Fits” list for the Top 50 free agents, and they have the Browns aggressive on two major moves that would instantly fill two big holes in the trenches.
Whether it’s securing a massive blindside protector for the future or fighting to keep a legendary anchor in the building, these two additions represent the exact kind of offensive build up that GM Andrew Berry promised.
Let’s look at who NFL analyst Matt Bowen slotted to the Browns in free agency, followed by my analysis.

Rank: 8
Rasheed Walker, OT, Packers (6’6″, 324-lbs, 26-years old)
Expected annual average salary in free agency = $20.28-million
“With needs across the offensive line, the Browns should target Walker, the top offensive tackle on our board. His pass block win rate of 93.8% with the Packers ranked 11th among 68 qualifying offensive tackles in 2025, and he should be viewed as an upgrade in Cleveland, as new coach Todd Monken rebuilds the front.”
Analysis
At a projected cost of $20.28-million per year, this would be the Browns biggest swing of the offseason. Future Deshaun Watson dead cap money limits Berry from spending wildly. Walker may be the one to spend the cash on, and fill in more OL spots in the draft.
Rank:42
Joel Bitonio, G, Browns (6’4″, 320-lbs, 34-years old)
Expected annual average salary in free agency = $12.9-million
“Bitonio, 34, could opt for retirement, but if he plays in 2026, the Browns should re-sign the veteran guard on a short-term deal. He would bring much-needed experience back to the O-line in coach Todd Monken’s offense. Bitonio allowed only two sacks in 2025.”
Analysis
If Bitonio could be talked into hanging around for one more season, it would make the Browns life a whole lot easier. It would keep the veteran leader in place at left guard, and be one less huge spot to replace on an O-line that is in desperate need of a rebuild.
