VJ Edgecombe impressed during his run at the NBA Rising Stars Game.
The Philadelphia 76ers guard ended up winning the MVP award and had his teammate Tyrese Maxey in attendance, celebrating with him.
The one-time All-Star ran on the court to snap a video of Edgecombe after he was issued his trophy so Maxey could post it on Instagram for his followers to see.

Edgecombe represented Vince Carterâs team on Friday night. He shared a roster with Egor Demin, Matas Buzelis, Derik Queen, Kyshawn George, Jaylen Wells, and Carter Bryant.
During the first matchup, Edgecombe led the way in minutes with nearly 13 minutes of action. He shot an efficient 6-8 from the field, scoring 17 points.Â
He also came down with five rebounds and dished out one assist. Edgecombe led the way as Team Vince defeated Tracy McGradyâs team, 41-36.
Edgecombe and his team would take on Carmelo Anthonyâs squad in the second and final matchup. That side featured Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, Donovan Clingan, Reed Sheppard, Ace Bailey, Jeremiah Fears, and Collin Murray-Boyles.
In the second game, Edgecombe wasnât as sharp from the field, making two out of five shots, but he still led the way with six points. In addition to his scoring, he came up with two rebounds and one steal on the defensive end. Edgecombe sealed the deal for Team Vince, as they went on to win 25-24.
Itâs safe to say that the Rising Stars Game was a success for the Sixersâ third pick. Once again, Edgecombe is looking like a stellar pick for Philadelphia, as they gambled on the young standout from Baylor in the 2025 NBA Draft.Â
Once heâs done with All-Star Weekend, Edgecombe and Maxey will return to Philadelphia to gear up for their playoff push.
