Like many teams, the Seattle Seahawks didn’t finish the season 100% healthy, despite winning the Super Bowl.
Seattle found success early in the season in the passing game behind star Jaxon Smith-Njigba and rookie wide receiver Tory Horton, who was a big contributor to start the year.
Horton suffered a shin injury in Week 9 against the Washington Commanders. In that game, he had four catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
He was subsequently moved to injured reserve and there was hope he could return in time for the Super Bowl, but head coach Mike Macdonald said earlier in the playoffs that his season was over.

He finished his rookie season with 13 receptions for 161 yards and five touchdowns.
Horton took part in the Seahawks Super Bowl parade and celebration on Wednesday, where he was seen walking the parade route and engaging with fans, which is a positive sign.
According to Gregg Bell with the Tacoma News Tribune, the receiver and kick returner is expected to be able to participate in training camp in July.
Horton shared pre-Super Bowl that a knee injury in college was part of the shin diagnosis.

“It was something that lingered around having the knee injury and rushing back for the combine,” he said. “It’s a risk-reward type of thing, rush back with something, it may be something that pops up later. That was something that I understood. It was something that caught up to me.
Horton looks to remain a key part of a receiving corp in Seattle, with JSN, Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed, who is a free agent.
“I’m looking forward to the offseason,” Horton said.
