The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions, and now, the offseason is beginning for their quest to repeat as champions.
While there are plenty of needs, like bringing back Kenneth Walker III, figuring out the secondary, or even adding more pass rushers or wide receiver help, there’s a bigger need that Seattle should address in the NFL Draft. That’s the interior offensive line.
Aaron Schatz of ESPN predicts that the Seahawks will address this need in the first round, taking one of two interior offensive linemen in either Oregon’s Emmanuel Pregnon or Penn State’s Olaivavega Ioane.
Seahawks predicted to take either Oregon or Penn State IOL in 1st round of NFL Draft
“If you liked the Seahawks taking an interior offensive lineman in the first round last year, you’ll love it when they do it again,” Schatz writes. “It’s one of their top needs. Olaivavega Ioane (Penn State) or Emmanuel Pregnon (Oregon) would be worth the gamble here.”
Adding an interior offensive lineman would be a clear top choice for the Seahawks this upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
With Anthony Bradford struggling this season, especially in the Super Bowl against Milton Williams and the New England Patriots defense, the need is clear.
One of Pregnon or Ioane would be a good addition for the interior of the offensive line. The right guard spot could use an upgrade, and the center with Jalen Sundell could also use an upgrade as well.
But, with Charles Cross signing a $104.4 million extension, the offensive tackle spots are not a need in Seattle.

Right guard or center is a big need. Zabel is a good starter at the left guard spot, but the other two interior line spots need some help.
Ioane or Pregnon would be the Seahawks best options at 32nd overall, their 2026 NFL Draft slot in the first round, thanks to winning the Super Bowl.
Either could fall to the Seahawks range, and of the two, Ioane is the one most likely to be taken before Seattle’s pick. A trade-up might be needed to land either.
But, at the end of the day, if Schatz’s prediction comes true, the Seahawks could improve their offense by drafting either of these IOL in the first round of the draft.
