After a tense matchup to close out the round-robin stage of mixed doubles curling on Monday, the United States and Italy meet again for an immediate rematch.
This time, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
The USA’s Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse face off against Italy’s Stefania Constantini and Amos Mosaner for the second time in the same day in the semifinals, with a trip to the gold medal match on the line. The winner will be guaranteed a medal, and the United States will have to contend with both Italy’s host-nation advantage and gold medal experience from 2022.
