Jordon Hudson took to social media Tuesday to send a targeted message to the Pro Football Hall of Fame after her boyfriend, Bill Belichick, was not selected for the Class of 2026.

Hudson posted a screenshot showing an online order for three Hall of Fame patches that had been canceled due to what the company described as “unforeseen circumstances.” She tagged the Hall of Fame’s official account and questioned the explanation.

“Hey @profootballhof,” Hudson wrote. “What were the ‘unforeseen circumstances’?”

What Bill Belichick needed to make the Hall

Belichick narrowly missed election after receiving 39 votes, one short of the 40 required for induction. The snub came late last week, according to ESPN, marking the first time the six-time Super Bowl–winning head coach has been eligible and not selected on the first ballot.

Hudson has been a visible and vocal supporter of Belichick since his move to college football. While her presence around the program has drawn attention and occasional controversy, she is frequently seen at home games supporting the veteran coach in Chapel Hill.

The couple has generated headlines since publicly revealing their relationship, largely centered on their age difference. Belichick is 73, while Hudson is 24. Despite the scrutiny, the two have remained in the public eye together since Belichick’s arrival at North Carolina.

Bill Belichick’s NFL legacy can’t be beat

Belichick spent 24 seasons as head coach of the New England Patriots, compiling a 302-165 regular-season record with a 31-13 postseason mark. His teams won six Super Bowls in New England, and he added two more championships as defensive coordinator of the New York Giants. His 302 regular-season wins rank third all-time, while his 347 total victories, including the postseason, trail only Don Shula.

Now entering his second season as head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Belichick will have to wait at least another year for possible enshrinement in Canton. His immediate focus remains on rebuilding the program after a 4-8 finish in his first season.
