There were times during the 2025 NFL season that it seemed like Joe Burrow was feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders.
Of course, it’s not easy to be an NFL quarterback, especially as the Cincinnati Bengals‘ superstar experienced a lot of injury troubles.
Still, it had people wondering how Burrow was doing, and if he’d look to force his way out of Cincy.
Turns out, maybe some of that was overblown.

Burrow was asked at the Pro Bowl if he’s still happy with the Bengals. His answer on Tuesday night was quite human, and also encouraging for Cincinnati fans.
“Yeah, I am,” Burrow said. “I think, you know, everybody has bad days, right?”
The QB then explained that he may not have had the best timing.
“Sometimes, they fall on press conferences days,” Burrow said of the bad days. “… So that’s how it goes sometimes.”
Another fair point, really. Burrow is expected to be the face of the franchise at all times, talking to the media even when it might not be easy.

Most NFL QBs handle that duty well, including Burrow.
But sometimes, there are just things to get off your chest, and Burrow used some of his pressers to do that.
He’s still uber-talented and has great wide receivers. The 2026 NFL season could be quite the bounceback. And Burrow isn’t going anywhere.
