Luka Doncic is must-see TV show at all times.

The 6-foot-8 Los Angeles Lakers standout point guard is having a season for the ages, as he’s nearly averaging a triple-double as the heart and soul of the 17-time NBA champions’ offense (33.7 points, 8.8 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game).

Doncic and the Lakers were in action against the New York Knicks on Sunday night, and there’s a particular individual who had much to say about Los Angeles’ six-time All-Star.

Specifically, WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark made her feelings clear about Doncic during NBC’s broadcast of the blockbuster NBA duel.

“Luka is amazing and incredible,” Clark stated. “I think the way he cannot only score the ball, but also the way he passes. I think the thing about him is he’s not the fastest or the most athletic, but he can get the defender to move where he wants him to go.”

“He takes up that space, and he does a really good job of keeping the defender behind him or keeping him to the side. I think that is something I can certainly learn from.”

Clark’s assessment of Doncic’s game is spot-on. The 26-year-old isn’t known for being a speedster who can finish above the rim when need be. However, Doncic’s commitment to using his large frame to put opponents in a bind and playing at a pace that suits him perfectly makes him a dynamic offensive contributor.

Doncic finished with 30 points, 15 points, and eight assists in the Lakers’ 112-100 loss to the Knicks. Clark is an amazing player in own right, as the Indiana Fever phenom earned the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year award, led the league in assists as a rookie, and has already earned two All-Star nods through two seasons.

It was pleasant to witness Clark provide a shout-out to one of the NBA’s brightest stars.
