Aryna Sabalenka will be aiming to solidify her greatness with a third Australian Open title in the final against Elena Rybakina.

The world no.1 is in her fourth consecutive Melbourne Park final – ironically defeating Rybakina in her first AO decider in 2023.

But Rybakina is a Wimbledon champion herself and will be keen to become a multiple major title-winner.

7:24 PM: After a warm week, Melbourne has really turned it on for tonight’s final with… rain. Fortunately, we can confirm the roof will remain closed, so weather will be no issue tonight.

7:15 PM: Play shouldn’t be far away! Just 15 minutes until scheduled start time.

7:00 PM: Obviously, both players enter tonight’s match in brilliant form. Neither player has dropped a set all tournament. Are we in store for another straight setter?

6:45 PM: Sabalenka is suiting up to try and become just the eighth woman ever to win three Australian Opens, while Rybakina is preparing for her third ever grand slam final.

6:30 PM: Sabalenka leads the H2H 8-6 – including the 2023 Australian Open final. However Rybakina defeated the world no.1 twice on hard court in straight sets through 2025.

6:28 PM: The players are expected to enter the court at approximately 7:30 PM for first serve at 7:40 PM

6:25 PM (local time): Welcome to Rod Laver Arena for tonight’s Australian Open women’s final between Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina.
