Before the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks take the field for Super Bowl 60, the Pro Bowl Games are coming to the Bay Area.
The NFL’s best will descend on San Francisco ahead of the big game in Santa Clara, but the format will again be a bit different this year. The Pro Bowl’s flag football game will take place inside of a smaller indoor venue, rather than a stadium, and it will be played on the Tuesday before the Super Bowl rather than on the weekend.
The Seahawks’ NFL-leading six Pro-Bowlers won’t participate as they prepare for the Super Bowl, while the Patriots’ two initial selections of Drake Maye and Christian Gonzalez will also sit out with bigger goals in mind.
Here’s a complete look at the AFC and NFC Pro Bowl rosters and alternates for the festivities.

2026 Pro Bowl alternates
This section will be updated as Pro Bowl alternates are named.
As much as the NFL promotes the Pro Bowl, getting players to make the trip hasn’t always been an easy task for the league. Some will inevitably withdraw from the Pro Bowl due to injury, even if only a minor injury, and history says some simply won’t participate to rest up after a grueling season.
In addition to players who pull out, players from the two Super Bowl teams are replaced on the roster. That means the NFC will need at least six alternates to take the place of Seahawks players, while the Patriots’ two representatives will have to be replaced by a pair of AFC players.
Here are the alternates named to the Pro Bowl rosters:
AFC
- Jaguars ILB Devin Lloyd replaces Steelers OLB T.J. Watt
- Bengals WR Tee Higgins replaces Ravens WR Zay Flowers
- Bills TE Dalton Kincaid replaces Chiefs TE Travis Kelce
- Colts TE Tyler Warren replaces Raiders TE Brock Bowers
NFC
- Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson replaces 49ers TE George Kittle
- Bears CB Nashon Wright replaces Eagles CB Quinyon Mitchell
- Lions QB Jared Goff replaces Seahawks QB Sam Darnold
- Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb replaces Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba
