The Chicago Bears have a big decision to make at wide receiver this offseason.

A three-year starter, DJ Moore had a career year in his first season with the Bears, but things have gone downhill since then and that slide directly correlates with Caleb Williams taking over at quarterback.

While Moore has come up big in some spots over the past few years, including in 2025, he simply hasn’t had good chemistry with Williams overall.

The veteran’s reduced production and poor chemistry with Williams, along with the fact that the Bears have a promising young trio of pass-catchers in Colston Loveland, Rome Odunze and Luther Burden, should have the Bears thinking about cutting ties with Moore instead of keeping his $110 million contract on the books.

And FanSided’s Christopher Kline agrees: he predicts the Bears will trade Moore to the Tennessee Titans this offseason.

“D.J. Moore put some incredible plays on tape this season, but he also gave up on a critical route in the NFC Divisional Round, leading to an interception,” Kline said. “Moore’s reputation is a mixed bag. He’s also entering the penultimate year of his contract, with Rome Odunze separating as the Chicago Bears’ WR1 and Caleb Williams’ favorite target. Now might be the time for the Bears to cash in.”

The Titans are a logical spot for Moore, as Tennessee desperately needs more help at wide receiver for 2025 No. 1 pick Cam Ward, who is working with a bunch of question marks headlined by Calvin Ridley.

Moore would be a great asset for Ward and the Titans’ ofefnse, as he can line up anywhere and make things happen at all levels of the field while also sporting a reliable set of hands.

Moore would likely cost a third- or fourth-round pick, at most, and the Titans have both of their selections in those rounds this year.

We normally wouldn’t be on board with a rebuilding team like Tennessee giving up draft capital for a veteran wideout, but it makes sense in this scenario given how crucial Ward’s development is.

The Titans are also projected to be loaded with cap space, with Tennessee sporting a whopping $93.5 million. That means the Titans can easily fit Moore’s contract in.

When it comes to ideal trade partners for the Bears with Moore, the Titans check every box. That makes it very possible this prediction comes to fruition.
