The New York Giants already made a head coaching upgrade this offseason by bringing in John Harbaugh to replace Brian Daboll, and they’ll be looking to make similar upgrades with the roster, too.

One area that the Giants will likely want to bolster is the offensive line in front of quarterback Jaxson Dart, and Harbaugh could bring in a familiar face to fill that role.

Giants predicted to add Tyler Linderbaum in free agency

In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Alex Kay predicts that the Giants will land Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum in free agency.

Linderbaum has played his entire career to this point under coach Harbaugh for the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens drafted him in the first round (25th overall) in 2022 and he’s been a key cog on the offensive line in front of star quarterback Lamar Jackson for the past four seasons.

“It wouldn’t be a shock to see Linderbaum reunite with John Harbaugh after the former Ravens head coach landed in the Big Apple this offseason,” Kay wrote.

“… Big Blue needs to overhaul an offensive line that allowed 48 sacks and struggled to protect rookie signal-caller Jaxson Dart. Adding Linderbaum on a long-term deal would solidify the unit and give the franchise an anchor to build around in the offensive trenches for years to come.”

More to come.
