Sacramento Kings guard Keon Ellis is garnering interest from teams around the league, and several suitors have emerged.

NBA insider Evan Sidery reported Sunday that multiple teams are interested in Ellis, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers.

“The Lakers, Pistons, Raptors, Sixers, and Warriors are among the huge group of teams who have shown trade interest in Keon Ellis,” Sidery said.

Ellis is averaging 5.5 points and shooting 36.4% from three this season. He has been in-and-out of the Kings’ rotation, playing 17.4 minutes per game. He’s played 30+ minutes in just four games.

Ellis may be coveted by playoff-caliber teams due to his consistent shooting. He’s shot over 35% from deep in all four of his NBA seasons, including a 43.3% mark last season.

“Unable to find a consistent role in Sacramento, Ellis is viewed as a player who will fit well within a contender’s rotation,” Sidery said.

The Kings are reportedly seeking a first-round pick in exchange for Ellis, who will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Any team that acquires him may run the risk of losing him this summer if his value goes up.

Ellis, 26, has spent his entire career in Sacramento after not being selected in the 2022 NBA Draft. He signed a two-way contract with the Kings and has become a promising young player.

It remains to be seen if a team will trade for Ellis, who has been mentioned in trade rumors dating back to last offseason. He is averaging 6.3 points, 1.2 assists and shooting 41.5% from three as a pro.
