Dante Moore threw for two touchdowns and Jordon Davison added two more on the ground as No. 7 Oregon rolled past Minnesota 42-13 on Friday night.
Moore completed 27-of-30 passes for 306 yards for the Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten, No. 8 CFP), directing an offense that piled up 510 total yards. Davison finished with 57 yards on seven carries, while Kenyon Sadiq returned from injury to catch eight passes for 96 yards and a score.
Minnesota (6-4, 4-3 Big Ten) remained winless on the road and struggled against one of the nation’s top defenses, managing just 62 rushing yards and 200 yards overall. Drake Lindsey threw for 138 yards and a touchdown, but the Golden Gophers could not sustain drives.
Oregon opened with a crisp, 75-yard march capped by Davison’s 1-yard run. The freshman added a 39-yard score to make it 14-0 before Brady Denaburg’s 46-yard field goal put Minnesota on the board. Noah Whittington’s 40-yard burst confirmed after review. The score pushed the lead to 21-3, and Moore’s 3-yard strike to Sadiq made it 28-6 at halftime.
Minnesota scored on its first drive of the second half, but Moore answered with a tight-window, 13-yard touchdown to Jeremiah McClellan. Jay Harris added a 12-yard run early in the fourth to close the scoring.
The Ducks dominated on both sides of the ball, holding Minnesota to 2.6 yards per carry and 58% passing while spreading the ball to 10 different receivers.
With USC next weekend, Oregon enters its final home stretch with momentum and its College Football Playoff hopes intact.
