For the first time since 2001, Kansas and Princeton will meet in a non-conference men’s college basketball game.
Unfortunately for the Jayhawks, star freshman Darryn Peterson will remain on the bench as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. He missed Kansas’ 77-46 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday after scoring 21 points against Green Bay and 22 points against North Carolina to start the season.
After a blowout loss in its season opener against Akron, Princeton recovered with back-to-back wins over Bucknell and John Jay College. Dalen Davis and Jackson Hicke are leading the Tigers with 16.3 points and 10.7 points per game, respectively.
