It’s been a perfect start for the Bulls in 2025, as they open up the season with a streak that we haven’t seen in almost three decades.
This is no ordinary streak, as it hasn’t been done since the days of one of the greatest players of all time.
What streak do the Bulls have that hasn’t been done since the Michael Jordan days?
The Bulls have started this season with a 5-0 record, something the team hasn’t done since the 1996-97 season when Michael Jordan and the Bulls went on to win the NBA Finals.
The Bulls started that season with a 12-game winning streak and finished the regular season with a record of 69-13.

Now, this current Bulls team might not finish the season with a record and result like that 90s team, but it’s definitely encouraging to see Chicago put together a strong start after a few mediocre seasons.
They finished 9th in the East in 2024-25 and 2023-2024, and 10th in 2022-2023.
Chicago sits a game ahead of the 76ers in the East as of now, and is only one of three NBA teams to still be undefeated to this point, joining the 6-0 Thunder and 5-0 Spurs.
Most recently, the Bulls beat a talented Knicks team in an NBA Cup game on Friday.
The Bulls’ next game is Sunday night, as the Bulls take on the Knicks once again, in New York.
