This doesn’t happen a lot in the World Series.

Especially in Game 7.

But the benches have cleared between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays.

Justin Wrobleski of the Dodgers was pitching to Andres Gimenez of the Blue Jays.

Two pitches inside early in the at bat just missed hitting Gimenez.

A third time, Wrobleski went up and in, and this one hit Gimenez.

Gimenez had words for Wrobleski. Wrobleski had words for Gimenez.

That’s when the benches came rushing out. The bullpens came running in.

The tension was quite high.

A warning was eventually issued by the umpires, but no one was tossed.

If anyone else gets hit, things could get very interesting. Would there be an ejection?

The hit by pitch could prove costly, too. Gimenez is the 9-hitter, and he was on base back to the top of the order. George Springer immediately hit a liner off Wrobleski for an infield single.

This game has a heck of a lot happening, that’s for sure.
