Vladimir Guerrero had an October to remember for the Toronto Blue Jays, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto can say the same for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Who will step up as the newest “Mr. November?”

The World Series is going the distance for the first time since 2019, and everything is on the line. The Blue Jays have one final chance to end a 32-year championship drought after wasting a handful of late-inning opportunities in Friday’s Game 6. The Dodgers, meanwhile, will have to win a second consecutive game on the road to become MLB’s first back-to-back champion since 2000.

Both sides will have nearly all hands on deck. All Dodgers pitchers except Yamamoto will be available in Game 7, and the same can be expected for the Blue Jays, aside from Game 6 starter Kevin Gausman.

L.A. can deploy a combination of Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, and Blake Snell, while Max Scherzer, Shane Bieber, and even Trey Yesavage should be at John Schneider’s disposal, in addition to a bullpen that has been effective throughout this series.

The crowd will favor the Blue Jays, but the Dodgers are 7-1 on the road in this postseason and ooze championship experience. Whether Toronto has one more magical night in the cards is the burning question entering Game 7.
