The participants set to compete at the upcoming WTA Finals event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia have each learned of who their opponents will be.

The 2025 singles event, which will feature the top eight player’s in the women’s game currently, begins this Saturday (November 1) and is scheduled to last exactly one week.

Last year’s first-time champion Coco Gauff is among this year’s participants, as is first time entrant Amanda Anisimova.

Players learned of their group stage opponents when the draw for the event was done on Tuesday (October 28).

The eight individuals have been divided into two groups of four, with each player set to compete against their three fellow group opponents once.

Those who finish in the top two from both groups will advance to the semi-finals, where the group winners will play the runner-ups from the other group, before the two last-four victors will face-off for the singles title.
