Chelsea signed several attacking players in the recently concluded summer transfer window, and manager Enzo Maresca has delivered his verdict on one player in particular since he joined the club.
The Blues did the majority of their business before the Club World Cup got underway, as they added the likes of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap from Brighton and Hove Albion and Ipswich Town, respectively.
They also signed Estevao Willian from Palmeiras after agreeing a deal for the Brazilian last summer.
While most of these signings were well-received, the one signing that divided the fanbase was Alejandro Garnacho, who swapped Old Trafford for Stamford Bridge after a summer-long saga.
The Argentine scored his first goal for the club in the defeat to Sunderland at the weekend, and Maresca has given his verdict on the player’s time at the club so far.
Contrary to popular belief, the Italian manager seems to be pretty happy with Garnacho’s contribution to the club so far.

Enzo Maresca’s verdict on Alejandro Garnacho’s start to life at Chelsea
Enzo Maresca admitted that he has been impressed by Garnacho’s contribution to the club since joining them in the summer.

He told the Chelsea website, “Garna is doing well. Garna is another player who we are trying to manage him a little bit physically, because he arrived here from United not 100 per cent in his physical condition.
“He is working hard every day, he is getting better and better, and in this moment we are happy with the way he is playing.”
Garnacho is competing for minutes on the left of attack with fellow summer signing Jamie Gittens, while Estevao and Pedro Neto feature on the other wing.
After falling out of favour at Old Trafford, the youngster will no doubt be determined to get his career back on track at Chelsea, and he has taken small steps to do that already.
