Shohei Ohtani hit three home runs the last time he pitched. What does he have for an encore?
Ohtani wields the power in Game 4: he can push the Los Angeles Dodgers closer to back-to-back titles both on the mound and at the plate, a day after putting two home runs and four total extra-base hits on the board in Game 3.
The Toronto Blue Jays have had mixed results against a Dodgers rotation that has dominated the competition in this past season. After getting to Blake Snell in Game 1, Toronto was shut down by Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2. Tyler Glasnow, meanwhile, had a rockier outing in Game 3. Can Ohtani set the tone again in Game 4?
The reigning NL MVP is making history as a hitter in this World Series, but he could move the needle for the Dodgers in Game 4 by giving them the same version of himself on the mound that the Milwaukee Brewers saw in the NLCS.

Is Shohei Ohtani pitching tonight?
Ohtani is making his third career postseason start and first World Series start in Game 4 of the World Series. The three-time MVP made his first-ever playoff start against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 1 of the NLDS, allowing three earned runs but striking out nine batters in a Dodgers win, and he shut down the Brewers with 10 strikeouts over six shutout innings in Game 4 of the NLCS.
It’s been 13 days since Ohtani’s last start, so he is well-rested coming into Game 4 of the NLCS.
