Before tipping off their 2025–26 campaign, the Baylor Bears will get an early test on Sunday when they square off against the Indiana Hoosiers in a neutral-site exhibition clash in Indianapolis.

Indiana comes in riding high after dismantling Marian 107–46 in its exhibition opener, while Baylor scraped past Grand Canyon in a tightly contested tune-up of its own.

It’s been ages since these two programs crossed paths, with their lone regular-season meeting dating all the way back to 1980. That day, the 17th-ranked Hoosiers made quick work of Baylor, cruising to an 83–47 victory.

For Baylor, though, Indianapolis brings back nothing but sweet memories. It was in this very city that the Bears etched their name in college basketball history by capturing the 2021 NCAA National Championship. Now, four years later, the Bears return to Indy—not to cut down nets this time, but to sharpen their claws before the new season gets underway.
