The Philadelphia Eagles got things back on track in Week 7, defeating the Minnesota Vikings to end their brief two-game losing streak. In the process, the Eagles‘ offense had by far its best performance of the year.

Jalen Hurts had his first 300-yard game since Week 3 of 2024, while both DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown had over 100 yards and reached the end zone a combined three times. With the offense clicking, the Eagles continue to be a team to watch to make a big splash at the trade deadline as they try to make a push for a second straight Super Bowl. ESPN labels Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson as a perfect fit for the Eagles.

“Hendrickson would be far and away the most attractive trade target if Cincinnati entertains a deal,” Jeremy Fowler writes. “However, a team source told ESPN, as reported Oct. 14, that the Bengals have no plans to trade the former All-Pro. The interest will be there regardless… The Bengals’ record is 3-4 and the team is in the thick of the AFC North race, all the more reason to keep its best defensive player.”

Hendrickson is set to be a free agent in 2026. And while the Bengals are just one game under .500 and are looking to stay afloat until Joe Burrow gets back from his turf toe injury, they could move Hendrickson if they lose their next two games.
