Flawless Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Ellie Thumann is a huge lover of celebrating Halloween all month long — after all, her birthday is October 29. And she took to social media to debut her first costume of the 2025 season.
The look gives unmistakably stunning, naughty nautical vibes. Wearing a teeny macro-skirt and frilly little top with spaghetti straps, the stunning model kneeled in black stiletto heels and arched her back as she leaned on two white anchors. On her head? A jaunty red nautical cap.
A bright red lip and expertly curled hair finished the look.
“Coming soooon,” Thumann, 23, captioned the Tuesday, October 21 TikTok share. Over the top she wrote, “Love Halloween.” She has been teasing her favorite holiday on her social media channels for a few months.
“My Halloween queen,” raved one fan.
“YOU ATEEE,” agreed a second
“Girlllll,” wrote a third.
“Halloween is the best,” said a fourth.

Thumann has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue three times. The influencer and world traveler recently got back into modeling after a year off (minus SI Swim, of course). She most recently attended the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in a sheer lingerie look by Dolce & Gabbana.

In addition to her gallery of photos in the print issue, Thumann also walked in the VIP-only Sports Illustrated Runway Show this past May 31. Also in the show: cover models Livvy Dunne, Jordan Chiles and Lauren Chan plus Jena Sims, Camille Kostek’s, Ilona Maher, Katie Austin, Nicole Williams English, Ali Truwit, Achieng Agutu and Jasmine Sanders — plus reality TV stars Bethenney Frankel and Stassi Schroeder. The show closed out Miami Swim Week and was a sexy, ultra-glam affair at the chic W South Beach.
