A rumor that Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry are separated has gone viral. However, despite the reposts and “likes,” there has been no report confirming these claims.
Why does the internet think they’ve split?
There has been no indication on either of their social media profiles that they are no longer together. Common telltale signs that when couples are in the midst of a breakup, they usually unfollow one another and delete photos. Neither of these has happened as Steph still follows Ayesha and vice versa. They both still have photos of one another and their children: daughters Riley and Ryan, and sons Canon and Caius.
While the internet is wrong about a split, the couple has been making headlines recently due to comments the July founder made regarding their marriage.
“So I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married… I thought I was going to be a ‘career girl’ and that’s it,” Ayesha said on the Call Her Daddy podcast last month.
Ayesha received a lot of backlash for her comments, but some women understood where she was coming from.
“People in the comments thinking being married to a really good basketball player means you stop wanting to be an individual,” one fan wrote.
“Shes lost the plot, dude is literally one of the best humans on the planet. And u badmouth him about ur marriage like he forced u into it, u literally built all ur success off of him,” another fan commented.
“You can be one of the GOATs and your girl will still go on to slander your reputation and talk about how you ruined her dreams 
ain’t no hope for us regular dudes,” a fan reacted.
“Yall are dragging this. She was being honest and a lot of moms can relate to what she’s saying whether he’s an NBA goat or not, she sees him as her man like a normal perspective. This is bs,” a fan came in Ayesha’s defense.
Neither Ayesha nor Stephen has made a statement about the viral comments or the separation rumors.

While all of the noise surrounds their relationship, Ayesha shared a heartfelt message to Stephen for their 14th wedding anniversary back in July.
“Screaming I LOVE YOU to my baby @stephencurry30 …” Ayesha wrote 14 year wedding anniversary and 17 years attached at the hips and the lips. Through everything and anything it’s you my baby. My forever everything.”
Steph made a similar post for their wedding anniversary this year.
“Life has been throwing some jabs recently but it’s always a reminder that I got my backbone and my rock with me through it all!” Steph wrote. “14 years blessed and many more to come. Don’t get it twisted, you’re more beautiful than ever. Love you my woman! July 30, 2011 @ayeshacurry”
