For the first time in over eleven years, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are bringing Rush on the road. The co-founders of the rock group announced the “Fifty Something” Tour 2026 of North America.

Anika Nilles will act as the new drummer for Rush following the death of Neil Peart.

“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of Rush alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil,” Lee said via Pollstar. “A lifetime’s worth of songs that we had put our cumulative hearts and souls into writing, recording, and playing together onstage.

“And so, after all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we f—— miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of Rush music.”

Selling millions of albums worldwide, Rush is considered one of the most iconic rock groups of all time. Some top songs, highlighted in the “I Love You, Man” movie, include “Tom Sawyer,” “Closer to the Heart,” “2112,” and more.
