Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Jawaan Taylor is getting married.
The protecter of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes announced the exciting news on social media on Monday.
“Every prayer answered in one yes. 💍 Thank you Jesus! #Engaged 🤍🥂,” Taylor captioned the post shared to Instagram.
In one photo, the NFL lineman could be seen walking down a red carpet lined with vases of roses and candles, as someone played a violin in the corner of the room.
Another photo showed Taylor down one knee proposing to his girlfriend, Tiffany Hylton, in front of a heart-shaped arch covered in roses.
It looks like Taylor went all out on the proposal, which included several sweet details. He had life-size photos printed of he and his now-fiancee displayed for the special moment, along with a large lit-up sign that read “Will You Marry Me,” and red rose petals scattered throughout the area.
Several of Taylor’s teammates were quick to comment on the exciting news.
Chiefs quarterback, Mahomes, wrote, “Congratulations, while wide receiver Xavier worthy, commented, “Congrats family.”
Running back Kareem Hunt dropped a praying hands emoji, and defensive end George Karlaftis shared a heartfelt “Congratulations.”

Jawaan Taylor and Tiffany Hylton’s relationship timeline
Taylor and his fiancee have been dating for one year.
The couple just honored their one year anniversary on July 13, by sharing photos from a romantic photoshoot together on Instagram.
“7.13 One year. One beautiful, unforgettable trip around the sun with you,” Taylor captioned the post. “You’ve filled my heart with so much love, laughter, and peace. I’m blessed to call you mine. I love you sweetheart.. Happy Anniversary!”
Taylor is in his third season with the Chiefs after a short stint with the Jaguars. He was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft after playing football at Florida from 2016 to 2018.
