Southern is led mostly by its running game. The Jaguars have four players with more than 100 rushing yards, including running back Trey Holly’s 228 yards and three scores and quarterback Cam’Ron McCoy’s 177 yards and two touchdowns.
Jackson State, meanwhile, has a quarterback conundrum on its hands. JaCobian Morgan started the first two games of the season, but Jared Lockhart led the Tigers this past week while Morgan didn’t see the field.
