NFL Week 4 kicks off with a divisional showdown in the desert between two 2-1 teams.
The Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals have both gotten off to strong starts in the 2025 season, and their clash on Thursday Night Football has major implications for the NFC West. While it’s early in the season, this game will be a crucial step in their playoff aspirations, especially since both of their lone losses have come at the hands of a division rival in the San Francisco 49ers.
The Seahawks have a revamped offense in year two of the Mike Macdonald era. Seattle has a new quarterback at the helm in 2025 in Sam Darnold, who threw for a career-high 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns in 2024 with the Minnesota Vikings. Along with Darnold, Seattle traded for former triple-crown winner Cooper Kupp to pair alongside star wideout Jaxson Smith-Njigba, who has over 96 yards in all three games this season.
On the other side, Arizona opened the season with two straight wins over the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers before losing to San Francisco in Week 3. The Cardinals’ offense suffered a major blow when James Conner sustained an ankle injury that will sideline him for the remainder of the season, but there are still plenty of offensive pieces at quarterback Kyler Murray’s disposal, including Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison Jr.
Both teams will look to grab their first NFC West win of the season on Thursday night and advance to 3-1. Follow along for updates throughout the game below.
