Two previous conference competitors will be brought back together this weekend as No. 2 Texas hosts No. 9 Arizona State.

The Longhorns have been battle-tested early this season, snagging big wins over ranked opponents left and right. On Wednesday, Texas pulled off a major five-set victory over No. 4 Louisville, with junior Torrey Stafford registering her fourth double-double in five matches.

Meanwhile, Arizona State has jumped out to a 4-1 record. The Sun Devils notched an early upset over Penn State on Aug. 31, which bumped them up the national rankings. Senior outside hitters Bailey Miller and Tatum Parrott have been a deadly duo in the front row.
